SOMA x Play with Clay: A Night of Creative Expression

Author: Leanne Monteiro

Earlier this year, SOMA hosted a painting event at Play with Clay in Hamilton—a vibrant, hands-on experience where creativity took center stage. Participants came together for an evening of artistic exploration, starting with blank clay forms and ending with beautifully painted, one-of-a-kind creations.

From mugs and plates to quirky figurines, each piece became a canvas for imagination. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, filled with conversation, color, and plenty of paint-splattered fun. It was a chance to unwind, connect, and express yourself in a uniquely tactile way. From abstract patterns to neuroscience-inspired designs, no two creations were alike—each piece told a unique story.
